We primarily use STEP steel for Bauer skates. STEP steel is manufactured by a Canadian company with 50 years of blade manufacturing experience. They use the highest quality materials and have mastered a proprietary process that delivers the best replacement steel on the market.
This steel is superior to stock steel. It holds edges longer and is less likely to break. STEP steel has 10% more additional height that can withstand more sharpenings for increased blade life. Available in Regular version or upgrade to the VELOCITY. Price is per runner and includes initial sharpening. Be sure to update quantity to 2 when in shopping cart to order a complete pair. Note: We are a Custom Radius shop and normally only sell steel to customers who are getting a Custom Radius. If you just want steel we suggest you get them from another online store.
