NEW!! These are not STEP TI-SS or Bauer Fusion Runners. These are entirely made of a unique titanium alloy. This alloy is superior to all other metals used on ice skates. It's exceptional properties include lightness, edge durability, non-corrosiveness, low friction and flexibility. They are 14-22% lighter than steel blades, they hold an edge 6 times longer, and the flexibility provides exceptional grip and control in turning maneuvers. Also, the reduced friction allows a speed increase of 2-5% over traditional steel blades. Used by NHLrs and top college players, these blades offer the utmost possible in performance one can get out of a skate runner. Best of all, these blades will not break, and even if sharpened often, their lifespan could be 10 yrs or more. Hardly any alloy is ground away with sharpening. Because these blades are custom made for your skates using your radius/pitch profile, they require 2-4 weeks for manufacturing. Price is per runner, and sharpening and radius is not included. Note: these blades can only be sharpened with special stones made to sharpen this alloy. We have these stones, but it is unlikely your local shop does, so you will have to send them back to us for sharpening. Consider this before you purchase. The good news is you'll be shipping them less frequently as they hold edges much longer.
